Buddha and cappuccino - a journey to balance
In June, I moved into my new apartment, which also houses my practice. As soon as I entered, I noticed that the garden and the house were adorned with a large number of Buddhas. At first I thought these little statues were just beautiful, but soon I began to think about their meaning. These discoveries led me to the question: What do I want to convey with my practice and my offer?
The message of the Buddha
Buddha not only stands for peace and serenity, but also for balance and mindfulness. In a world that often seems hectic and chaotic, it is more important than ever to find moments of calm and reflection. Buddha reminds us that inner balance is the key to a fulfilled life. I want to embody this philosophy in my practice and pass it on to my clients.
Cappuccino as a symbol of time out
The second part of my logo, the cappuccino, has an equally personal story. My sister lives in Norway, but visits me regularly. So that she can take part in my life here, I often send her pictures of me with a cup of cappuccino, and one day I promptly received a humorous comment like: "Aha, you're treating yourself to another cup and some time out." These little messages became a running joke between us.
It was particularly funny when my sister helped me do office work. On one such day, when she noticed that I hadn't had a cappuccino yet, she said with a grin: "I guess there's no cappuccino in it today, huh?" These moments of laughter and joy became an important bond for us, embodying the feeling of relaxation and enjoyment.
Connecting the elements
In late summer, during another visit from my sister, a friend from Norway, a healer and painter and also a big Buddha fan, came to enjoy a few days of vacation with us. Inspired by our shared experiences and the meaning Buddha and cappuccino had for us, he came up with the idea of creating a logo, but didn't tell us about it. A few weeks later, we received gifts in the form of mugs and T-shirts with this very logo.
The joy of the new design was so great that we decided to use it as the trademark for my company, Casa de la Harmonia. The logo not only symbolizes the connection between me and my sister, but also the balance between mindfulness and enjoyment.
A new chapter
With the redesign of my website, which now matches the colors and style of the logo, as well as new business cards, the logo has become an important part of my practice. Buddha and cappuccino are not just images; they are symbols of what I strive for in my work: creating a space where balance and well-being are at the forefront.
The new logo is therefore more than just a design - it is a message. It reminds us that we should always incorporate moments of calm and joy into our hectic everyday lives. Whether it's a cup of cappuccino or the mindfulness that Buddha symbolizes - both are part of a balanced life.
I invite you to join me on this journey to balance. Let's celebrate the small moments of happiness and serenity as we work together towards a harmonious life.
